The data obtained and produced in the report provides information in three key areas:
- A personality summary, describing elements of the candidate’s personality profile and how he or she will be suited to the aviation training pipeline.
- A performance breakdown, indicating levels of both cognitive and physical performance and learning potential.
- An overall performance indicator supported by suitability statements.
Easily accessible online, FAST comprises multiple elements which require the candidate, among other things, to monitor a flight path, react to visual and auditory stimuli, answer psychometric questions and conduct self-analysis. FAST assesses the candidate’s ability to manage concurrent thinking and doing tasks in a time pressured environment.
