The predictive and supporting approach utilised by ADAPT were initially developed in association with top athletes. Innovative approaches to individual selection, team performance issues and mentoring/coaching proved central to a number of key sporting achievements.

Formula 1

• An early form of ADAPT’s personality profiling approach assisted in the selection of F1 driver Juan Carlos Montoya, successfully predicting his long-term performance and concerns regarding his personality which may inhibit career progression – a prediction that was later substantiated with extraordinary accuracy.
• Pipeline training support provided to F1 driver, Heinz-Harold Frentzen, in which confidence, physical skills and organisational decision making support enabled him to develop the mind-set and skills to achieve pole position qualification.
• Human Performance work and organisational development enabled Williams to reduce by a full second their pit-stop times.

Olympic Athletes

ADAPT supportive pipeline training proved instrumental in crowning Pippa Funnel as the most successful equestrian ‘eventer’ of all time. Having achieved great success in the Olympics Pippa remains the only person in the world to have ever won an eventing ‘grand slam’.
