Our expertise in training needs analysis, courseware design & delivery and Human Factors combine to provide a course that will not only enhances the credibility of investigator but also, engenders trust in stakeholders.
Successful candidates will attain an internationally recognized BTEC Level 4 accreditation in CCTV Investigation.

Course Content
The course has been designed for personnel who regularly review and analyse CCTV and other image based evidence.
Delivered over five days the course provides delegates with a full understanding of CCTV investigation.
Image Analysis and Evaluation: Forming the bulk of the training course, this provides tuition in applying a structured approach to analysing people and forms of transport in CCTV as well as other image based evidence. The approach breaks down the target into defined sections ensuring a more accurate and consistent method to image analysis.
Human Factors: Provides training in how to mitigate human traits and biases when analysing image evidence. In addition the subject covers issues regarding human performance when carrying out visual tasks.
Tasks & Duties: Outlines the primary links found along the evidential chain, from retrieval to review to court presentation stressing the importance of maintaining evidential continuity as well as other important considerations when working with CCTV evidence.
Legal Issues: Provides students with detailed information on aspects of the law relevant to CCTV evidence such as legal precedents and data protection.
Elements of CCTV: Delivers an understanding of CCTV networks.
Candidates take part in realistic exercises throughout the course and each module is formally assessed. Upon successful completion of the course candidates are awarded with a BTEC Professional Level 4 in CCTV Investigation.
