Aviation Courses, part of Friday Media Group, a leading aviation training hub for flight schools, ATOs and type rating providers worldwide, has partnered with Symbiotics, the provider of ADAPT psychometric aviation assessments, to offer a suite of pilot aptitude practice tests.

This collaboration will support both qualified pilots seeking new career opportunities and aspiring pilots preparing to enter the aviation industry.

Aviation Courses' mission is to connect current and aspiring aviation professionals with the training programmes they need to progress their careers. Built on the belief that finding the right aviation training should be simple and transparent, the platform enables users to discover, compare and connect with training providers worldwide. Whether pursuing a Private Pilot Licence, an airline type rating, or cabin crew certification, Aviation Courses provides a streamlined path to the right opportunities.

Pilot Aptitude testing is a key stage in the journey to becoming a pilot. Widely used by airlines and flight schools, these assessments help predict a candidate's likelihood of success in flight training and when used later in a pilot's career, their suitability for a role. Qualified pilots applying for new roles are increasingly likely to encounter aptitude assessments assessments, especially within Europe, as airlines use these to ensure compliance with the psychological element of the EASA Aircrew Medical Fitness Regulation.

Through this partnership, Aviation Courses will offer Symbiotics' Pilot Aptitude Practice Tests to its members, enabling candidates to prepare effectively for their assessments. These practice tests allow candidates to familiarise themselves with the testing process and identify areas for improvement ahead of formal evaluations with an airline or pilot training school.

Hannah Davies, Director of Strategy and Growth at Symbiotics, said: "We are delighted to partner with Aviation Courses to support both aspiring and experienced pilots in building the confidence to perform their best. Effective preparation allows candidates to demonstrate their true capability, removing the uncertainty and 'shock factor' often associated with aptitude assessments. It also enables individuals to identify their strengths and areas for development early in the process, helping them approach their training journey with greater clarity and confidence."

Jeff Cousens, Commercial Director of Aviation Courses, added, "Pilot aptitude testing is a critical part of the aviation journey, yet many candidates go into it underprepared. Through our partnership with Symbiotics, we're giving both aspiring and experienced pilots access to high-quality practice tools that build confidence and improve performance."
