Richard Brecknell is the Technical Director at Symbiotics Ltd. Richard started his career in 2000, working as a software engineer in safety and mission critical industries, including aerospace, evolving skills in developing robust and secure applications, before progressing into project leadership and management roles for the last fifteen years. As Technical Director, Richard oversees the software team at Symbiotics and is responsible for the development and deployment of learning and assessment platforms to a wide range of clients globally within the aviation industry.

Manager – JetBlue

Yael Oelbaum is a Manager on JetBlue’s People Data Insights team. Yael’s team develops and implements impactful data programs on the pre-hire through first year experience at JetBlue, with a focus on assessments, hiring systems, candidate experience, new hire experience, and broader People metrics. Her work involves developing, validating, and optimizing selection tools, creating and deriving insights from surveys, and using research to explore various business issues. Her current work research interests include the impact of candidate experiences on organizational outcomes and practical ways to detect and address unconscious and conscious bias in the workplace. Yael holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Baruch College & The Graduate Center, CUNY.
