Advice from our Psychologists
The pilot aptitude testing process is a very important element in Airlines and Aviation Training Organisations assessment and selection process for new cadets, helping them to predict how successful you are likely to be on the training and ultimately in your career as a pilot. This practice test allows you to be as prepared as possible for your maths assessment, giving you an indication of the format of the test and what the style and level of questions is likely to be. It will also enable you to highlight areas that you may want to focus more on prior to taking your assessment.
As well as taking a practice test we recommend that you go back to your GCSE (or equivalent) level text books and familiarise yourself with the different formula as well as practicing mental arithmetic in every day life for example tallying up your shopping at the supermarket.
