Pilot Readiness Test

The Pilot Readiness Test consists of 48 questions and will normally take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. The questions are divided into four topics which are;

  • Maths – There are 12 questions split across 3 difficulty levels, which will need to be completed within a 20 minute time limit.
  • Physics - There are 12 questions split across 3 difficulty levels, which will need to be completed within a 20 minute time limit.
  • Cognitive - There are 12 questions split across 6 specific elements (Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Relationship Reasoning, Perception Speed and Accuracy, Abstract Reasoning, and Working Memory), which will need to be completed within a 14 minute time limit.
  • English - There are 12 questions, which will need to be completed within a 20 minute time limit.

The questions for this test are fixed so multiple purchases will result in you receiving the same questions.

It is highly likely that you will experience pilot aptitude tests when applying to join a flight school and they can be the first obstacle on the way to becoming a pilot. Pilot aptitude tests are used by Airlines and training organisations to identify how likely you are to be successful during the flight training process and ultimately in your career as a pilot.
